Top 3 Movies Foodies Would Love

After a long week of work, don’t you just want to relax and enjoy a good movie? The best way to picture out a movie marathon is with close friends and family as well as great food and drinks.

To help you choose the perfect film to watch this weekend, we've compiled a list of food movies that will give you valuable lessons while also making you crave for some good food.

Note: Make sure to grab some popcorn and chips because these movies will make you hungry!

1. Under the Tuscan Sun

When Frances Mayes (Diane Lane) learns her husband is cheating on her from a writer whom she gave a bad review, her life is turned upside down. In an attempt to bring her out of a deep depression, her best friend, Patti (Sandra Oh), encourages Frances to take a tour of Italy. During the trip, the new divorcée impulsively decides to purchase a rural Tuscan villa and struggles to start her life anew amid colorful local characters, including the handsome Marcello (Raoul Bova).

The film's key message is that going on adventures in life will lead to new experiences, second chances, and healing from heartbreak.

2. Letters to Juliet

When a young American (Amanda Seyfried) travels to the city of Verona, home of the star-crossed lover Juliet Capulet of Romeo and Juliet fame, she joins a group of volunteers who respond to letters to Juliet seeking advice about love. After answering one letter dated from 1957, she inspires its author (Vanessa Redgrave) to travel to Italy in search of her long-lost love, which sets off a chain of events that will bring a love into both their lives unlike anything they have ever imagined.
